We are currently looking for a proven and experienced team leader to lead our High Performance Computing Team.

The High Performance Computing (HPC) team deliver a high quality service to our engineering departments providing them with the best possible tools to enable both world class car development and to optimise decision making at the track. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the HPC Group continue to deliver world class capabilities in terms of functionality, performance, efficiency and cost analysis.

The HPC team leader will lead the development of the HPC infrastructure roadmap, working with key stakeholders to ensure that business, operation and commercial needs are met, as well as ensuring that all projects and operations are delivered in a high quality and timely manner.

This role will also ensure that tools and methods are up to date with the latest technology advancements, compliant with FIA regulations, integrated with corporate IT infrastructure, and adhere to security policies. 

The suitable candidate should have:

  • Expert hands-on knowledge of HPC infrastructure including compute, storage, networking and software defined technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Engineering applications (such as CFD, FEA, high end visualisation) and the demands that they place on HPC infrastructure.
  • Be a proven team leader coupled with strong communication skills and a high level of personal drive and commitment.
  • Experience of working in a high end HPC / analytical tools environment.

CMM Inspector (Night shift) [HR15052017]

This role will have responsibility for the detailed inspection of complex components and assemblies to the highest standards. The position will be working in our Mechanical Inspection areas predominantly on our night shift pattern.

The role will have responsibility for the detailed inspection of complex components and assemblies to the highest standards. The position will be working in our Mechanical Inspection area on our night shift pattern.

The CMM Inspector role will work with both internal and external suppliers to develop supplier quality. Therefore the successful candidate will require exceptional communication skills.

You will also be required to have extensive CMM and Tracker / Arm experience using PCDmis and Polyworks and will be competent with all types of measuring equipment and gauging techniques. A familiarity working with a Manufacturing business system, competent Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to present clear, concise and accurate data are additionally all requirements for this role.

Applicants should be apprentice trained, self-motivated, and have excellent experience in precision engineering and manufacture. You will have the ability to deal with challenging situations, time constraints and delivery pressures. The ability and willingness to work to tight deadlines and to take a flexible approach to work patterns is a must.
